How to Obtain or Register Your Vignette
Verify Vehicle Category
Check weight and emission class. Cars ≤ 3.5 t need a vignette; motorbikes do not.
Purchase Digitally
Visit the official portal edalnice.cz and pay by card or Apple Pay.
Schedule Activation
Choose immediate start or delay activation up to 30 days.
Keep Confirmation
Save the emailed receipt; plate recognition cameras validate automatically.

Who Is Exempt?
Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles
Criteria: Fully electric or hydrogen fuel cell, registered in CZ or EU.
Process: Submit plate number in EV database → receive confirmation email.
Documentation: Vehicle registration + emission certificate.
Severe Disability (ZTP/P)
Criteria: Czech disability card holders driving private vehicles.
Process: Register once at point of vignette purchase or online form.
Documentation: ZTP/P ID and vehicle registration.
Historic Vehicles
Criteria: Vehicles with veteran plates (green letters).
Process: Automatic exemption—no action required.
Misuse of exemptions can lead to fines up to 20 000 CZK.
